Live Train Running Status

Track real-time train position, delay, and station-wise updates for Indian Railways

What is live train running status?

Live train running status shows where an Indian Railways train is right now — its current position between stations, delay, speed, platform numbers, and expected arrival/departure times at each halt. It helps answer "Where is my train?" without calling railway enquiry.

How to use this tracker

  1. Search by train number or train name in the form above (e.g. 12951, Rajdhani).
  2. Choose a journey date from the dropdown — Yesterday, Today, or Tomorrow.
  3. Click Track Train to fetch real-time position, delay, and station-wise status.
  4. Check again closer to departure — status updates as the train moves.

Understanding status labels

Running means the train is currently on its route. Not Started means it has not departed yet today. Completed means the train has reached its destination. Cancelled or diverted trains show alert banners with details.

Live status is fetched from publicly available railway tracking sources via RailRadar. For official confirmation, verify on IRCTC, NTES, or Indian Railways enquiry (139). RailCheck is not affiliated with IRCTC or Indian Railways.
