RailCheck ("we", "us") operates railcheck.in. This policy describes what information is collected when you use our website and how it is used.

Information you provide

• Booking date calculator: Dates you select are processed entirely in your browser. We do not send journey dates to our servers or store them in a database.
• PNR status checker: When you submit a PNR number, it is sent to our server API solely to fetch live status from a third-party railway enquiry service. We do not permanently store PNR numbers or passenger details on our servers.
• Contact: If you email us at contact@railcheck.in, we receive whatever you include in your message.

Automatically collected data

• Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-6DCKZ4Q9N8) to understand aggregate traffic patterns such as page views and device types. Google's privacy policy applies to this processing.
• Google AdSense — we serve ads through Google AdSense, which may use cookies and similar technologies to show relevant advertisements. See Google's advertising policies for details.
• Theme preference — your light/dark mode choice is stored in your browser's local storage and is not transmitted to us.
• Server logs — our hosting provider may log standard request metadata (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability.
